Client: Arthur’s Urban Market

Halifax, NS

For many, opening a new retail business in the depths of COVID would appear to be a fool's errand. However, in the grocery industry, which has been one of the few retail winners during the pandemic, that notion wasn't quite so hairbrained. And since it was to be a boutique grocery experience set in the underserved Halifax, downtown core—it actually made a lot of sense.

But it had to be something special. From product offering and interior design, to branding at all touchpoints, and promotional materials -everything had to coalesce in beckoning our target to the table. The result was a livery of elements that answered that call and created an urban shopping destination that is truly something new in the region and truly connected with our target. Since opening, traffic and sales have been brisk, and social media connections grew from net-nothing, to 1100 Facebook followers and 3,360 on Instagram.
